Construction of the Norwegian Hytte

Earl ingebright had long wanted to complete two big projects in the back part of the property. One was to construct a bridge across Jordan Creek and the other was to build a "getaway" cabin or Hytte similar to what our Norwegian cousins each owned in Norway. Earl scouted the back part of the property along Jordan Creek and found a suitable crossing to a small hill overlooking the creek.
He began with a plank bridge from Valhalla wood and continued with a  road curving up to the cabin site.
This was an inspiration to one of Earls granddaughters, Jill. She wanted to learn some construction skills. Jill and Earl worked together to plan the project and began construction. It was completed over the next several years and continues to be upgraded by members of the family
