WebRelay

We use an off the shelf web-relay to control four items:  Tansmitter fan, Antenna relay, Amplifier control and Autotuner power

Here's a 4 channel network-controlled relay marketed by Control by Web.com
website

Anybody running a serious remote station has to have some relays to control various electrical devices around the shack
This isn't a work of art but it does feed station 12 Volts to various important pieces of 12 volt gear. The best part is being able to turn on and off the Elecraft KPA500 by shorting pins 8 &12 on the rear Accessory plug

Here's a screenshot of the customized menu
I bring it upon an adjacent laptop when owering up the remote station.

Shot of the remote radio setup under the workbench in the garage. Main parts are in the cabinet with a 4" fan on the back pulling air through the closed box.
Right now the web relay sits on top of everything waiting for a good out of the way place to be found. It uses dydndns to maintain control over the internet.

This was our first web relay
It never worked after a major power spike in 2020
 A new firmware load made it think it was a rotor remote control;
See a trouble sheet sent to the mfr
Nobody was interested in helping us so we just set it aside for now.
2021: Added a power conditioner to the whole AC side.

Block diagram of the remote station.
This config uses six separate modules. The red line is a dry contact closure used to switch the KPA500 amplifier on using a pair of pins in the accessory plug

Note the small fuse for powering the station accessories
The whole 25 amp supply should not be connected to the accessory DC bus.

Here we are setting up the switch on the network and connecting its relays to the various items in he remote shack. Laptop sitting on top of the radiobox.

Using this outdoor relay, we can switch between two antennas.
Currently two windowline dipoles high in trees
