We disposed of that in the fall of 2021 and further cleaned up
the area |

Looking from outhouse to shelter. That logging debris

We took three out of every ten 80 yr old trees in 2019 and it really
helped make the forest more open and healthier

Our standard Outhouse
We keep it clean and there's a sack of lime with a cup. You throw in a
cup when it's needed, an old trick for keeping pit toilets from getting
too smelly.
TP is kept in a coffee can so it stays clean and dry.
Trail on right leads to a corner of the property (150yds) and a ladder
at the end of the grass up through some rock and trail to the
spring. If you hike to the spring please use care around the spring water tank and catch area.
It is a sanitary area and feeds the campsites and Dave's
house |
Trail from parking with wheelbarrow to help take your
stuff over to the shelter
|
Short trail to the bridge at the bottom
Please do not attempt to drive your car past the walk-in sign. |
