Old Tucson Movie Set

In the hills west of Tucson
 

There was a complete western town built for movie-making and television
 


$17 to get in and walk around the place
 



It was pretty cool and totally a movie-set

Old steam engine "Reno"was in great shape and carried some famous passengers

Sheriff's office and noose
 


They had a gun-battle reenactment
 



Included gunman on tower

 



Then he pushes the stuntman over while clinging to ladder


They had a nice 1 1/2 scale train that ran around the perimeter
 

 

 

Great looking stagecoach on metal frame.
This ride was an extra charge
 


Good time was had by all
