We found a desert area about a ten min walk away

Cobblestone Farms
The first thing you see coming into Maricopa
This place was a farm ten years ago

Some fountains and huge grass playfield 5 min walk from the house
The real estate lady said it was one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in the town.

Actually its the lowest spot  in the whole place, drainage point for runoff

We end up enjoying this farm in the desert more than we thought.
This road leads out into the desert. Great for running the dog and biking

We are still trying to figure out how many crops they harvest/yr.

We can ride bikes to the "Duke" golf course in about ten minutes.
So now we need to sign up for golf lessons?

Gila Indian Reservation property line at the end of a 2 mile walk..
This was a starting place to go miles into the desert on bikes.
The sign threatens that to go past the sign onto Gila River Indian land risks having whatever you have with you confiscated. The farmer confirms this and said they get really excited if they catch you and there's a fine too.
