Two solar chargers out of the way by the pool equipment.
They were wired in parallel driving the six LED floods from dusk
until morning
The one on the left is new, the one on the right was purchased 12
months ago as a test unit. It needed new ni-cd 3.2 volt batteries
but otherwise was operational less some weathering and UV checking.
Two units were used to drive six lights so that the system would be
more robust and no problems would arise from lack of current
availability.

The yard was equipped with low voltage light wiring in 2010 when the
pool was installed. The wires were buried and run to the pool
equipment area but never connected.
The Home Depot LED set was the perfect fit because the LED floods
and the Solar panels were meant to be separated with long wires. We
just used the existing wiring to connect the whole thing up. |
